Hello all!
It's so sunny and warm outside today but instead I've decided to put up a quick post just about the little bits and pieces I've accumulated over the past few weeks or so. The first item is a black and white striped crop top, this was from Topshop and was only about eighteen pounds or so! It's got a little, higher than usual, neckline which I love. I'm all for a high roll neck but obviously they tend to be a bit uncomfortable in sixteen degree weather! Its also got a little roll on the sleeve which I quite like, I wasn't sure about the length of them at first, its kind of a grey area, I'm always a little unsure on whether that length cuts off my arms in the wrong place and might make them look a little chunky! I'll do an outfit post at some point but its something you could wear with most things high waisted!
The second thing I've recently bought are these cat eye sunglasses. I have been loving this shape more and more recently and knew I had to get myself a pair. However I was quite torn between these and the softer looking cat eye ones, you all know what I mean right? To be quite honest with you I do have quite a big head and like they say, "the bigger the handbag, the smaller you look". Well my theory is, "the bigger the sunglasses, the smaller your head will look". It's true though! I am never seen in a pair of sunglasses that aren't almost the same size as my head. Some people, I know, hate that big bug-eyed look but if they don't make my head look like it's the size of Jupiter then I am not complaining! These were from a little stall in the North Laines in Brighton, they were six pounds! The guy at the stall was doing two pairs for a tenner, so my boyfriend picked some up as well. Not the same pair, in case you were wondering!
The last few bits a brought are underwear, three bras to be specific. Being on the smaller side, and I don't know if its just that, but I find bras with any kind of padding in so uncomfortable! They never seem to fit right and it does frustrate me slightly because I love beautiful underwear and I'm always buying it. However recently I've lost a few pounds, which seems to have only come from my boobs and I need to buy new bras all over again. These soft bras are honestly a godsend because (minus the bottom one) they have absolutely no moulded shape or underwire and they're so comfortable! We all love the feeling of being bra-less don't we girls!? Well now I feel bra-less all the time and it's absolutely fabulous. I found these beauties in a H&M sale for three to ten pounds each! You can buy similar ones from American Apparel and Urban Outfitters.
Something literally just arrived in the post! This is a real silver ring with a labradorite stone in it. I'd never heard of that stone before but I liked the colour and design so I brought it, but get this, I paid a measly £2.99 for it from EBay! From a shop called gems_and_silver. Some of the stuff on there is a bit chintzy but if you scroll down through all their items you can find some decent stuff, and for that price you can't go wrong really can you boys and girls!
Please excuse my nails in these pictures!
